 It’s been too long since I’ve harassed Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, and their conservative nutjob friends. Today is the day I make up for that: I have nothing against women in politics. Just Palin. I think she knows nothing and couldn’t be more unfit to lead anything, especially the most powerful country in [...]  I always find too many informative political and economic articles to share, so I’ll select a few and throw them all in to one post of important stuff you should read to get your week started: 1. Now that football season is almost over, The Great Wahl is going to be struggling for regular content. I guess that means I will have to revert back to my pre-NFL blogging about politics, economics, and random nonsense (like a hamster on a guitar eating popcorn). But for now, I’ll start in the [...] Lots of crazy political stories in the news today: As the Senate gets into its second week of debate on health care, the protesters plan to turn the chamber’s offices and hallways into “government waiting rooms,” pretending to be sick patients waiting for treatment. As the day wears on, their “untreated illnesses” will get [...] I don’t know who put this little ad together, but I imagine it’s probably someone not that far from Sarah Palin’s branch on the Republican Crazy Tree. WTF? At first I thought this one some sort of SNL skit, but it’s not. [...] 
The Great Wahl crowd tends to lean to the left or, at the very least, can’t stand Sarah Palin. I know everyone enjoys a good political bashing — and today, I’ve got a really good one. Slate recently ran a “write like Sarah Palin” competition in honor of her book, Going Rogue. They [...]  Obama is finally good for something after all: helping my golf game. Thanks to an IRS ruling that golf carts, as long as they are road worthy (side-view mirrors, seat belts, etc.), can qualify for the electric vehicle rebate up to $5500. The federal credit provides from $4,200 to $5,500 for the purchase [...]  It had been a good week for Republicans in the public perception game. Obama flew to Europe to try and win Chicago their bid for the 2016 Olympics. That failed. Then SNL ripped him with a cold open that demonstrated that he has accomplished nothing of importance since taking office. Honeymoon over. [...] I don’t own a gun. I’ve never been to a gun show. And I’ve fired a gun probably twice in my life. I’m not exactly the gun-carrying type. And I’ll keep my personal thoughts about the 2nd amendment out of this discussion. My favorite amateur political analyst proclaimed vehemently last Summer that she would rather cut off her leg than have Bush (or McCain?) elected (or was it just any Republican?
