The PGA Championship is near my parent’s place in Kohler, WI this week. No bites on selling their home yet, but the week is young. As for the actual tournament, Tiger sucks, Mickelson has severe arthritis, and everyone else on the tour is relatively boring. I’ve been to four PGA Championships in my [...] On and off for the last couple of weeks, including pretty much this entire past weekend, I have been building a website for my parents to sell their home. I don’t know a lick of HTML, so it made things a little tricky, but I’ve learned enough about website design and manipulation from [...] I guess the term “Ultra Lounge” is used loosely these days. I didn’t think Ultra Lounges existed outside of LA, NY, or Vegas. But apparently She Vegas (the “She” presumably coming from Sheboygan, WI — the hip Location Du Jour, or not) fits the bill. This “Ultra Lounge Nightclub” is literally sandwiched between two [...] I played golf with my Dad this afternoon. We played at the same course we are playing at next weekend in his company’s annual golf tournament to get a nice warm-up in. Some of us are warmer than others: We bet one dollar per stroke. Nineteen strokes later, I’m ready to treat myself [...] I think we all knew this was the case, but to actually see M. Night Shyamalan’s collapse in chart form is quite stunning. I wouldn’t trust this guy to even produce my niece’s soccer games these days… The last M. Night movie I saw was The Village. Yesterday was some awesome soccer. Mostly because it involved a team of fake fans, fake players, and a terrible dictator getting thoroughly embarrassed, live — AND SOME ACTUAL SCORING!!! Portugal beat North Korea 7-0, a score that Americans can finally relate to. With the World Cup scoring down in the first round, I [...]  In case you haven’t noticed yet, World Cup fever has come to The Wahl. Games start tomorrow, and ESPN claims to be showing every game of the entire World Cup live — which will be amazingly awesome. Skor, of golfing fame (we need to calculate our handicaps for a fair fight, fyi), was nice [...] Ludacris hasn’t had a good song in 10 years — including this one — but I’m all about covering pop culture topics, and appealing to my readers, so… I’m just upset that Luda couldn’t work “Because I’m Blasian’ :)” in somehow… Just wait until Tiger is divorced, light $750 million, but can still [...] |
