 It’s been a while since I’ve posted my full weekly NFL preview column on here. But it’s the Super Bowl, so I figure I might as well go out of the football season with one last big push. So, last weekend didn’t go so well… Outside of the Packers losing ‘the most entertaining game of any sport in recent memory’ in a heartbreaking manner because we couldn’t pressure Kurt Warner, I managed to go 0-4 in my ‘Spread ‘Em’ column for Wildcard Weekend. I’m pretty sure [...]  ‘We’re headed that way. To Miami.’ I’ve been traveling the past few weeks, so I haven’t had the opportunity to put together my weekly NFL picks column. However, I can’t resist any longer now that the playoffs are upon us. Only 11 NFL games remain in the 2009 season. Let’s see if I [...]  The last few weeks, I haven’t really been inspired to do the Spread ‘Em column. My football energies have been focused on the great run the Packers are making, and I’ve neglected paying attention to all the other teams, so my picks have been suffering. However, the Packers can wrap up a playoff spot [...] Busy this morning with the photo contest below, so I’m running up against the clock for my picks. Games start in like 5 minutes. For the record, I like: NEW ORLEANS (-10.5) at Atlanta Falcons Detroit Lions (+14) at BALTIMORE RAVENS GREEN BAY PACKERS (-4) at Chicago Bears CINCINNATI BENGALS (+7) at Minnesota Vikings [...]  It feels like I’ve gone 4-3 every week for quite some time now, but that’s not actually the case. However, last week was, again, a mixed bag. My Thanksgiving thoughts mostly included being thankful for being above water on my fake betting: Last Week: Against the Spread: 4-3; Straight Up: 5-2 Season: Against the [...]  A little late on this week’s picks, I apologize. But relatives were here for Thanksgiving, and I didn’t particularly like any of the lines from the Thursday games, so I put it off until now. I know most are busy and probably won’t read this anyway, so I will, like BJones did earlier this [...] So, it’s probably a bad choice of words for the title of this post, but it’s the first thing to come to my mind — and I can’t think of anything else that grabs people attention so that they read this.
